Team Mexico Women’s Baseball Roster 2026: WBSC World Cup Group Stage

MEXICO CITY — The Mexican Baseball Federation (FEMEBE) officially announced the 21-player roster for the Mexican Women’s National Baseball Team heading to the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup Group Stage 2026 presented by RAXUS.

Currently ranked World No. 4, Mexico will contend for a spot in the World Cup Finals from July 22 to 26 at Rivets Stadium in Loves Park, Illinois (greater Rockford/Chicago area). The squad features a mix of international experience, solid defense, and a pitching staff led by pioneer pitcher Rosi del Castillo.

Mexico opens group play on Wednesday, July 22, against Australia, before facing a tough slate that includes host team USA (World No. 2), Canada (World No. 3), Korea, and Hong Kong China.

Manager Ezequiel Buenrostro selected a 21-player squad composed of six infielders, four outfielders, three catchers, and an eight-arm pitching staff to navigate the five-day tournament schedule.
